Established in 2019, Model Platform is a family run creative workshop, working across a variety of scale and scope, ranging from architectural models to bespoke architectural joinery and free standing furniture. Coming from an architectural background we are passionate about design & craft, aiming to combine the architectural sensitivity with a hands on understanding of detail and fabrication.

We take pride in our understanding and appreciation of architectural intent, exploring the interactions between traditional skills and modern techniques. We strive to create carefully crafted models and joinery pieces which truly captures the essence of our clients projects through a carefully selected material palette.

Our workshop has provided us with the opportunity to bring ideas to life through experimenting and prototyping, while developing solutions and details in the process of making. We work closely with private clients on one-off commissions, and collaborate with architects, designers and artists on their challenging new ideas and unique concepts.
